Nate Silver's team at FiveThirtyEight issued a prediction that Hillary Clinton stands the best of chance (80.3%) of winning the general election in November. The more interesting number is the most frequent scenario in FiveThirtyEight's simulations that Clinton will likely win 354 electoral votes. This is a very bold prediction and puts the probability of a Hillary Clinton landslide win at over 36% and a majority at 43%.
Note:This prediction is solely to track the electoral college victory as predicted by FiveThirtyEight, as we have another prediction in place to track victory point-spread. Since electoral votes play a very important factor in deciding the winner, it makes good sense to hear what you think of this.
