Background
In a December 30, 2014 Florida court filing, Virginia Giuffre alleged she was sexually trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein, who lent her to people for sex, including Alan Dershowitz. Virginia Giuffre said Dershowitz had sex with her 6 times over 3 years from when she was 16 at Jefferey Epstein's home.

Alan Dershowitz's name, among other prominent public figures like Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, appeared on the Lolita Express logs.

Giuffre sued Dershowitz in the United States District Court Southern District of New York on 04/16/19, Case 1:19-cv-03377, of defamation.

Meanwhile, Dershowitz, who used to represent Epstein and got him the infamous Sweetheart Deal, counter-sued Giuffre and her lawyer David Boies on 2/11/2020 claiming she defamed and intentionally inflicted emotional distress on him.

Giuffre alleges that (Alan) Dershowitz knowingly made false assertions that she committed perjury by accusing him. As part of her suit, Giuffre is asking for punitive damages, the amount of which would be determined at trial. Giuffre repeated her allegations on camera as part of the May 2020 Netflix series Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, by stating that Epstein had trafficked her to Dershowitz for sex.

Dershowitz :
I will prove without any doubt that she is lying about me," Dershowitz said in response to the suit. "She is going to end up in prison.
